Not my usual post.... This is for Engineering Managers in my Women in Tech network who are interested in hearing about new roles. We are looking for several Engineering Managers for a unicorn Fintech. 💡 They are innovators in finance starting as a peer-to-peer lending company and have now redefined customer experience through banking. It's an award winning, people-first culture where they empower, support and represent a diverse workforce, with nearly 50 nationalities. 📍 2 days a week in Canary Wharf 💷 Salary is £110K-£120K + package.  👉 About you: We are looking for people who have moved into management, are big on people, process and delivery while still technical but more from an architectural perspective. 💡 Last Friday, Future CodeHers and Alma Angels joined forces to host an Entreprenuer's hackathon with fantastic group of motivated young girls (14-18) from Tower Hamlets schools. A group of inspiring Women in Tech founders and Investors gave the best insights and advice one could wish for - Jas Schembri-Stothart (Yacoubian), Sapna Shah, Kelli Fairbrother, Liz Gebhard, Josie Buck, Kitty Harris and Roxane Sanguinetti - thank you! They talked about their journeys, and opened the students minds to entrepreneurship including how a business derives from a problem, and how to turn a problem into a business! They discussed investment, grants, where to start, handling failure, opening doors, asking for what you want. To follow was a mini workshop where the students identified a business problem that #tech could solve, and presented their business case. A truly inspiring day, made possible by Naushine Robinson Assoc CIPD, Kitty Harris, Roxane Sanguinetti for organising and Sabina Mistura for providing the venue and snacks. Thank you to all involved 🙌

Last week we had BIG news. Copper.co offered their first year 13 Computer Science student from Central Foundation Girls' School a Tech Apprenticeship 🙌 This is a powerful step forward, especially considering 46.8% of students at CFGS are eligible for free school meals. Beyond inspiring more women to enter the tech sector, this apprenticeship is a fantastic example of how we can boost social mobility by providing alternative, accessible pathways into the industry, rather than solely relying on university degrees. This is what Future CodeHers is all about, and what we need more of! Huge thanks to Clara Xufre Luna, Annah Rae,Copper.co and CFGS for making this happen 👏 👏

Hi All, I'm urgently looking for Tech volunteers who can help with the following school events please. These are for Girls schools based in East London and our goal is to inspire them about a career in tech. Details below:   📍Central Foundation Girls School ⭐️Year 8 Technovation Day 🗓️ 22nd July 2025 between 12:40- 15:30 👉🏼 We need a company to run a tech workshop/activity for the Year 8 girls (age 12 – 13) as part of Technovation day. The purpose is to get the students excited about the world of technology and hopefully inspire them to consider a further study/ a future career. The activity can be on anything; however anything related to AI, Robotics, Virtual Reality, Digital Identity (avatars), Cyber Security is a bonus! ___________________________________________________________________ 📍Walthamstow High School for Girls  ⭐️Year 9 Tech Insight Day  🗓️ 16 and 17th July 2025 between 13:30- 15:30 👉🏼An event we ran last year, and due to its popularity, we’re doing it again. We need volunteers in Product, Engineering & Talent, any gender and from any company to help support a Tech Insight Day for year 9 students. The Product Managers will help with a ‘Learn Agile with Lego’ activity, Web Developers with a Web activity (already created) and Talent volunteers with a career in tech activity. Each activity will last 40 minutes and you would carry it out for 3 different classes.   Please email me at naushine.robinson@oliverbernard.com if you can support or have any questions, any help is much appreciated ☺️

🙌 Fantastic news for Future CodeHers , yesterday marked the start of an exciting partnership with Copper.co! A few months ago, Annah Rae, Head of Talent at Copper.co reached out as they had ambitions to build a long term partnership with a school where they could make a real difference.  Their plans include visiting the girls who are studying Computer Science on a regular basis to deliver CV & interview workshops PLUS the amazing opportunity to apply to their Tech Apprenticeships first, before anyone else. This is the ultimate example of a company's commitment to making impact.   Yesterday, their vision came to life and they met with the Year 12 & 13 Comp Sci students at Central Foundation Girls' School; a school where a staggering 42.5% of their students are eligible for free school meals. Annah Rae, Michael Lockwood, Alice Colligan & Clara Xufre Luna delivered a presentation about Copper and the Engineering team, what to expect when interviewing with them, the apprenticeship opportunities available followed by an open session for students to get CV support, ask questions and learn more about the opportunity.   It was a roaring success!   Some of these students are A* A* A* students and are so close to finishing school so what a time to provide such valuable advice 🙌🏼 Thank you all 👏👏
