What a great milestone to celebrate. Congratulations to our new Monday starter, Keir, for taking the 400th spot across our #ActicaGroup! We’re also delighted to have donated £400 to each of our Group charities to mark the occasion, with our Charity of the Year, Vauxhall City Farm, receiving ours. If you’re ever in the Vauxhall area, the farm is a lovely place to visit – not just for the animals 🐐🦙🐇😍, but also for the incredible work they do. Each year they support hundreds of young people with education, work experience and training, helping them build confidence, develop essential life skills, and find pathways into meaningful employment. 👏
🎉 We’ve hit a milestone – our 400th team member has joined the #ActicaGroup! Sustained growth only happens when talented people choose to build their careers with us, so a huge thank you to everyone across the Group who’s helped us reach this moment. The colleagues who joined us on 1st December officially took us to 400 permanent employees. 🏃🏻♂️🏋🏿♀️ Take Ten Manbassador Challenge 🚴♀️⛹🏽♀️ Throughout November to recognise Men’s Health Awareness Month and International Men’s Day, we have encouraged everyone across Gemba, and our wider group, Ntegra and Actica to get moving together. We teamed up with Active Teams and joined their fantastic Take Ten Manbassador Challenge — logging every 10-plus minute burst of activity, taking on our own personal goals, and forming teams of five for a bit of friendly competition across the group (and even with other organisations). There’s a reason we chose movement as our focus. Some of the leading health issues affecting men – including heart disease and prostate or testicular cancer – are often easier to manage when there’s early awareness and positive preventative action. Regular physical activity won’t guarantee outcomes, but it can make a meaningful difference. It supports heart health, immunity, energy, mood, sleep, and overall resilience, all of which can help reduce risks substantially or support people living with these conditions. With a couple of days left for the final push, here’s how we’re doing so far: • 55 of our people are moving across competing 11 teams 👏 • Our leading team is currently 'The PaceMakers' (lets see if you keep our top position on Sunday!) 🏆 • We've logged 1487 activities across the month 🥵 (almost an activity per person per day) • 2383 miles covered 👣 • Favourite activities are walking, workouts, and running. 🏃🏻♂️ • We've logged activities from the top of Great Gable, Lake District - right out to Queenstown, NZ. 🏞️ It’s been a great way to connect across all three companies in our group – a shared challenge for a good cause. 🕺 Happy International Men’s Day from the #ActicaGroup! This month, our teams across Actica Consulting, Ntegra and Gemba Advantage came together to recognise Intl. Men’s Day, celebrating the positive contributions men make while raising awareness of the challenges many still face. As part of our commitment to supporting both physical and mental wellbeing, we’ve taken part in two meaningful initiatives: 🏃♂️ The Manbassador #TakeTenChallenge Our teams are logging every 10 minutes of activity — walking, cycling, dancing, gardening, whatever gets you moving — adding a sense of fun, connection and friendly competition across the Group. For many of us, spending time in nature has been a great way to boost wellbeing while reinforcing the importance of staying active and inspired. 🧠 #SuicideAwareness We also partnered with Mind to offer Suicide Awareness sessions, creating space for our people to learn how to recognise when someone might be struggling, build confidence in having supportive conversations and understand where to find further help. 💙 #WhyThisMatters Around 40% of men don’t meet recommended activity levels, yet regular movement can make a real difference – helping to reduce the risk of some of the five biggest health challenges for working-age men: Heart disease, Prostate cancer, Lung cancer, Bowel cancer, Suicide. International Men’s Day reminds us that men's wellbeing isn’t just an individual responsibility, it’s something we can build and protect together. We’re proud to recognise the amazing and unique men across our Group — from technical experts and engineers, consultants and project leads, to analysts, designers, innovators, mentors and those keeping operations running behind the scenes – we see you and we appreciate you! A huge thank you also, to everyone across the Actica Group who joined in, learned something new, or simply took a moment to check in on themselves and others.
