Celebrating Success of the West Kent Apprenticeship Academy Event! On Tuesday 4th November, we were thrilled to bring together 98 students from Years 11–13 from across six schools in West Kent – Host school Leigh Academy Hugh Christie were joined by The Skinners' Kent Academy, BENNETT MEMORIAL DIOCESAN SCHOOL, The Malling School, Hillview School for Girls, and Leigh Academy Tonbridge – for a full day of interactive workshops focused on apprenticeships and employability skills. This event was facilitated by Pathway CTM in collaboration with The Kent & Medway Careers Hub, and was designed to help students: ✅ Identify their strengths and transferable skills ✅ Build their personal brand and learn how to use LinkedIn ✅ Explore Post-16 & Post-18 apprenticeship options and Labour Market Information ✅ Experience a mock assessment centre task to develop teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills A huge thank you to our incredible facilitators – Gemma Watts, Izzy Miller, Sarah Leipnik from Tony Gee and Partners, Phoebe Adams and Rupert from Southern Renewals Enterprise– for inspiring and supporting students throughout the day.
