This is genuinely the first moment that I’ve had to myself since the call from Ofsted on Thursday. When it came, it was completely out of the blue. We’ve been expecting it for our Nansledan nursery but not Redruth. (You’ve got to love a parent complaint!)
I was in Charlestown at the time, with our deputy manager and pedagogical lead, who were proudly showing off the amazing nursery to Alex Patterson and Nico Takhar
By the time I reached Redruth, the team had already sprung into action, determined to show off what they had achieved in such a short time. Everyone played their part. The senior team headed there or called with advice and support. Staff from our other nurseries offered to help in any way they could, including our incredible maintenance team.I was blown away by the support, it was so well received,…..But team Redruth were ready💛
The outcome, on the back of a complaint, only eight months after opening was incredible🤩
12 hours later I was heading to Hayle, breakfast muffins at the ready, to open the doors on our stunning renovation, thanks to our Pedagogical Lead and again the wonderful maintenance team. It was an amazing morning, thanks to the manager her team. Such lovely feedback from current and prospective parents.
Then on to nanny duties. If you know me you’ll know they are my favourite moments, ( if exhausting)
It’s peaceful now, just me, George 🐕 and a well deserved drink. But before I fall asleep 😴, I just want to say how proud I am of what we ALL do, and how grateful I am to ALL the people who create a magical childhood experience every day. We are an amazing team, and I hope that the Ofsted report does us proud 💛🌿💛
Enjoy your Sunday evening, let’s hope that the sun keeps shining for the week ahead.
