📢 Clinical Study on OCEAN ACTIVES® H+ Published in Microorganisms (MDPI) MDPI We’re proud to share a significant milestone in OCEANIUM’s mission to deliver sustainable, efficacious seaweed-based ingredients for People Health and Ocean Health. This study, conducted in collaboration with EDC BioSynergy is the first-ever clinical trial to investigate the prebiotic activity of fucoidan-enriched Saccharina latissima, a naturally occurring bioactive extract from brown seaweed. The results confirm that OCEAN ACTIVES® H+ enhances gut health, supports a balanced microbiome and improves metabolic functions, reinforcing the promise of seaweed-based solutions in nutritional science. What an incredible launch for Art for Your Oceans last night at Sotheby's in London! 🌊 It was amazing to see OCEAN INK® in action - the world’s first biodegradable screen-printing ink made from sustainably farmed seaweed, currently in development for use in textiles and packaging. This exhibition offered an exciting sneak peek at this groundbreaking innovation while also raising vital funds for WWF-UK’s Ocean conservation work. The artworks, created by 16 leading artists including Antony Gormley and Daisy Parris were nothing short of extraordinary. Huge thanks to the amazing teams at WWF-UK, Sotheby's, The Earthshot Prize, and Artwise Curators for bringing this to life - and a special shoutout to Ian Vallance (Materials Innovation Director), the mastermind behind OCEAN INK and the driving force behind this sustainable breakthrough.
