  • 🙌 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕-𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒖𝒏𝒔𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒍: 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒏 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔! Here's the disconnect we see every day... What some supply chain leaders tell us: -"Our forecast will eventually fix these stock gaps" -"5% out-of-stock isn't terrible—customers will substitute" -"We can capture trends and feed them into our demand forecast" What store managers tell us they experience daily: -Too little of what's actually selling, too much of what isn't -Inventory numbers that don't match reality (theft, damage, system delays) -Limited space = delivery bottlenecks = empty shelves -50% of customers walk out empty-handed when key items are out-of-stock The gap between these realities is costing retailers millions. This is exactly why we believe in human-in-the-loop supply chain optimisation. Store managers have contextual intelligence that no algorithm can fully replicate. Pure automation based on imperfect data? That's the problem, not the solution. If you're a specialty retailer with 5+ urban stores in a city and a large SKU range, your store staff need to be part of your automation and AI strategy. 𝑬-𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒈𝒐 𝒃𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝑻𝒆𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒔 𝑨𝒍𝒆𝒓𝒕! People sometimes raise their eyebrows when we tell them an e-Cargo bike can carry 100s of units of mixed retail goods in one load. Yesterday, we moved 254 units of inventory from a micro hub in Camden to retail stores across Greater London. Nothing was left behind. The Ridelogix platform has learned how to optimise the right amount of inventory suited to bike capacity while maximising sales value and conversion of each load for Retailers. Optimised box selection (to ensure we minimise the amount of air shipped), safe weight & balance practices, and a bit of good old Tetris (load sequencing is, however, on our future tech roadmap!) allow us to achieve strong results in partnership with Retailers who choose to transform their city-based store inventory replenishment on our platform. A big thank you to the Holland & Barrett team for their continued focus and partnership as innovators in this space. • This week, we took some time to capture some footage on one of our platform inventory transfers between Holland & Barrett stores in London. This short clip visually demonstrates how e-Cargo bikes have a huge advantage when navigating busy London traffic, and why we continue to see best-in-class unit costs and carbon intensity from our inventory optimisation platform. Big Friday shout out to our Head of Operations, Stephen Reynolds, who produced, starred in, and edited this video for us. We are super proud of having such an amazing team of all rounders! £0.12 per unit. That's the lowest we have been able to get the cost of inter-store inventory replenishment on our platform, using e-Cargo bikes, in August 2025. And we are still optimising and refining to go lower every week. People are often surprised and sceptical when we tell them that e-Cargo bike deliveries in urban settings can be way cheaper than a delivery van. But we now have close to 18 months of real world results to prove it. So, how do we do it? Our team have built best-in-class algorithms that help us maximise utilisation of the bike's capacity, ensuring we cover the needs of many stores on a route as we take advantage of a bike's ability to cover large distances (yesterday, we had one route that was >50km across London) and many stores along the way. Service times are short with bikes (sometimes less than 2 minutes), allowing us to do much more in the time it would take other transport modes in big city environments. Below is a sneaky snap of our Head of Operations, Stephen Reynolds, navigating inner city London earlier this year. This was a random spot from our COO, Lili Kyuchuk-Pakyuz, ACA, on a bus on the way to see some store managers at a new retailer we are shortly on-boarding to our platform. • 224 grams of CO2e per km. That's what we save every time we optimise inventory flows across retail stores in London using e-Cargo bikes instead of diesel delivery van equivalents. Over the last year, that has added up to more than 5 tonnes of CO2e avoided on the Ridelogix platform. The future is smarter and greener. It’s how we increase Retail profitability, enhance operational efficiencies and reduce waste across urban retail operations. Optimising your replenishment network means less waste, fewer inefficiencies, and a more agile retail operation. Our intelligent urban network design ensures stock moves exactly where it’s needed, reducing overstock and stockouts while streamlining logistics. By leveraging e-cargo bikes, we minimise your impact on traffic congestion, air quality and noise pollution, and create a more sustainable urban environment – without compromising on efficiency or profitability.
