The Carbon Trust and UK Agri-Tech Centre have launched FASTA, an accelerator to help innovators scale measurement, reporting and verification (MRV) technologies, driving agri-tech business growth and making farming part of the climate solution. Agriculture accounts for 10% of greenhouse gas emissions. MRV technologies are vital to lowering these emissions by providing the data and transparency needed to track progress, validate impact and guide smarter decisions. The Carbon Trust has officially joined the CFIA - Carbon Footprint International Alliance (CFIA), reinforcing our shared commitment to harmonising carbon standards worldwide.   Last week our Label and Assurance Commercial Director, John Newton attended the official MoU signing ceremony at COP30 Brazil to commemorate the membership. Senior leaders from ISO - International Organization for Standardization, International Accreditation Forum Inc (IAF), and international carbon programmes were also in attendance.   The collaborative nature of CFIA strengthens the credibility and global recognition of the Carbon Trust Label, ensuring it aligns with international best practice and transparency standards.
