Today is International Day of Charity (5th September) a global reminder of the importance of giving back and supporting those in need. We proudly celebrated our Annual Charity Day yesterday with raffles, quizzes, bakes sales and dart competitions. Giving back has always been a cornerstone of our business, and it was great to see our teams across all offices come together with such energy and generosity. Each office chose a charity to support whether for their incredible impact in the local community or because the cause is close to the hearts of our people. We are delighted to welcome back David Harney to Venn Group. David will be re-joining our Local Government Change & Transformation team, where in 2017 he quickly distinguished himself as a valued team member and an expert in his field.   During his three years away, David took on a Principal Consultant role with a Data & Analytics organisation, effectively acting as Chief Data Officer for a number of Local Councils. In this capacity, he worked with data officers and leadership teams to review processes, skills, and technology, providing recommendations directly to executive teams. He also led delivery teams to implement end-to-end automated analytics solutions for Local Government, including initiatives such as Single View of an Adult, Single View of Debt, and Single View of a Customer. Rob Westbury, who worked with David from the outset of his career, commented: “A huge asset to have returned to us and we look forward to witnessing his success and learning from the wealth of talent and experience he brings.” We are thrilled to have David back with us and look forward to the continued success and expertise he will contribute to the team.
