As we reflect on the year, we’re filled with gratitude for the trusts and foundations who’ve backed our mission 💛 As part of the Through Life’s Pathway funding programme, we received a generous grant of £22,000 from the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity and Greenwich Hospital. The grant will directly support Royal Navy and Royal Marine veterans through our Support Care Coordination programme – delivered in partnership with NHS Op COURAGE. The need is clear: 🎖️ In 2024, we supported 963 veterans with complex social welfare needs across all services 📉 90% arrived with low wellbeing in at least three areas 📈 88% reported significant wellbeing improvements after our support 🤝 WWTW provided 48,640+ hours of face-to-face support #WalkingWithTheWounded #VeteranSupport #RoyalNavy #RoyalMarines #OpCOURAGE #NHS

We were delighted to attend the launch of the Female Veterans Toolkit by the Female Veterans' Transformation Programme earlier in November. As a proud contributor to this important project, the toolkit marks a significant step forward in ensuring female veterans receive the specialist, informed support they need as they transition to civilian life and thrive beyond service. Understanding the unique challenges faced by women who have served is essential to delivering effective and personalised care. This new resource will now play an integral role in our everyday operations - helping us better recognise, understand and meet the needs of female veterans across the UK.
