Our aim is to support the next generation of “impact unicorns”: not billion-dollar companies, but organisations whose models can improve the lives of hundreds of millions of people. The challenge? The world isn’t short of social innovation. But too few solutions reach the scale of the problems they aim to solve. And because so few succeed at scale, we still know too little about how it happens. That’s why we’re building something new. We’re launching a dedicated Insights function — and looking for a founding Chief Insights Officer to lead it. This role will track what works across 35+ world-leading ventures, uncover the patterns behind scale, reach, and lasting impact, and translate lessons into tools for funders, policymakers, and institutions worldwide. By 2030, our ambition is to support over 100 ventures and improve the lives of 500 million people. This role will be central to making that ambition real. It’s a rare opportunity to build a new function from the ground up, and work with both extraordinary ventures and The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) — a global hub for the impact economy.
