Blackley Music Cup for Outstanding Performance and Contribution to Music
Newstead Wood
I was awarded the Newstead Wood Blackley Music Cup in my leaving year, awarded for Outstanding Performance and Contribution to Music as I played a lead role in the annual musical production, conducted and chaired the Gospel Choir, performed as a vocalist for the Jazz band as well as a solo vocalist in each termly showcase, and finally I co-founded the Soul Band with a member of staff in which I performed as a lead vocalist.
