Demand Planner
Permanent | Woking (Hybrid 2–3 Days On-Site)
£36,000–£42,000 per annum
We’re working with a leading consumer goods business that operates across multiple sales channels, supplying fresh products to customers nationwide. As part of continued growth, they’re looking for a Demand Planner to join their collaborative and fast-moving planning team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with prior demand planning or forecasting experience who’s looking to develop in a hands-on, commercially focused role. You’ll work closely with teams across supply chain, operations, and commercial to ensure accurate forecasts, effective stock management, and excellent product availability.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain accurate demand forecasts across multiple channels, factoring in promotional activity, product launches, and seasonal trends
Monitor performance against key KPIs including availability, waste, and forecast accuracy
Work closely with procurement and production to ensure material and capacity planning align with demand requirements
Support the launch and transition of new products, ensuring smooth forecasting and supply continuity
Analyse sales and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Produce clear and actionable insight reports to share with internal stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and systems, driving efficiency and accuracy
What We’re Looking For
Experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain coordination, ideally within a fast-paced consumer products or manufacturing environment
Strong Excel skills; familiarity with tools such as Power BI or Power Query an advantage
Confident working with large data sets and translating information into actionable recommendations
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across teams
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
A proactive problem solver who enjoys working collaboratively to deliver results
