Facilities Manager

Salary: £59,000–£62,000 + Overtime + Pension + Private Healthcare + Life Assurance + 33 Days Holiday

A fantastic opportunity has emerged for an experienced Facilities Manager to join one of the UK’s leading FM providers, taking ownership of a very prestigious static site in West London.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of all planned and reactive maintenance. You will lead a dedicated team of engineers and supervisors, driving performance, continuous improvement, and outstanding client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of maintenance engineers and supervisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Foster a proactive culture centred on safety, accountability, and technical excellence.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management in line with company standards.

Operations & Service Delivery

• Take ownership of all PPM and reactive maintenance, ensuring contractual and legislative compliance.
• Ensure full adherence to health & safety policies, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Manage subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely and to specification.

Client & Stakeholder Relations

• Act as the primary site contact, ensuring exceptional communication and service delivery.
• Attend regular client meetings and provide updates on performance, compliance, and improvement initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong technical background within hard FM (mechanical, electrical, or building services).
• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent) preferred.
• Proven experience managing maintenance operations on a static or critical site.
• Excellent understanding of statutory compliance and maintenance processes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop teams.
• Confident communicator experienced in dealing with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Budget management experience and confident with CAFM systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
