We support people getting into work, getting back into work and developing in work by harnessing the knowledge, expertise and talents of the people profession. We empower people to seek and secure opportunities in work by providing access to the expertise of CIPD members and industry partners. The people profession is a key driver for change in the workplace and we aim to create a more diverse profession to build a fairer, more accessible world of work. From financial support to coaching and development programmes, we are enabling under-represented groups to grow and progress.

  • Support a parent back into work, become a Job Search Mentor 👥 Parents returning to work after a career break can face reduced confidence, outdated skills and the need for flexibility. As a Job Search Mentor, you will provide practical career guidance and one-to-one support to help them take the next step and secure a role that fits their life and ambitions. 🔸What the role involves You will support up to three job seekers over a period of up to six months. Sessions are online and usually take place monthly, lasting 30 to 60 minutes at times that suit both you and your mentee. Mentoring relationships run within set cohorts with clear start and end dates. 🔸Who we are looking for We welcome applicants working in Recruitment, Human Resources, Learning and Development or Organisation Design at any level.     It has been two weeks since the CIPD's Annual Conference and Exhibition, and we are still feeling energised by the conversations, ideas and connections shared across both days 🤩 Thank you to everyone who joined our ACE sessions: 👥 The inclusive workplace: where age is an asset 💡 The feel good factor: why giving back boosts you and your business Both sessions showed the power of the people profession to drive meaningful change, whether through creating truly age-inclusive workplaces or embedding purpose and volunteering into organisational culture.
