🤩☀️There is something about gathering early in the morning with a room full of powerhouse women leaders that sets the tone for the entire day. Before 7AM - Chara Reid-Reed, PharmD Tammy McClellan, PharmD Dr. Christie C. Smith and Lakesha Farmer, PharmD, MBA delivered a session on Leading with Intentionality that was anything but ordinary. Their message was clear: leadership isn’t about titles or roles, it is truly about culture. The strength of any team comes from how we support one another, not the hierarchy on an org chart. One point that landed solidly for me was that coaching should be positive, uplifting, and ongoing — not reserved for difficult conversations. I look forward to sharing these concepts with my leadership team at Accessia Health! That reframed how I think about leadership. Coaching isn’t discipline; it’s encouragement. It’s showing up consistently to build people up, not only when challenges arise. Grateful to start the day with such authentic wisdom and reminders that intentional leadership shapes the culture where people thrive. Navigating the complexities of a chronic or life-altering illness can be challenging for patients, families, advocates, providers, and anyone involved in their health care journey. Charitable patient assistance programs (CPAPs) play a vital role in helping patients access and maintain life-changing, potentially lifesaving, medical treatments. Working compliantly with CPAPs is a critical step in ensuring patients have access to financial, educational, and supportive resources. During this session, CPAP representatives from HealthWell, CancerCare, Accessia Health, and Patient Advocate Foundation will share available resources, best practices for navigating and enrolling in their programs compliantly, and insights on how CPAPs work together to assist patients in achieving better health outcomes.
