“For over 20 years, I lived with chronic pain and daily heart episodes. I feared I wouldn’t survive much longer. Then, everything changed.” -Joe Because of generosity like yours, Joe found healing at Pepin Heart Institute at AdventHealth Tampa. Today, he’s back on his bike, full of energy and hope. Because of you, healing happens every day across West Florida. 💙 Following Thanksgiving, we are thankful for our AdventHealth Foundation West Florida team, whose dedication helps turn your generosity into lasting impact for patients and families. The holiday season reminds us how deeply generosity transforms lives by bringing world‑class heart care close to home in Zephyrhills, keeping families together in Ocala’s NICU and creating comforting spaces for children in Tampa's pediatric unit. Every gift, no matter the size, becomes part of someone’s healing story. As we look ahead to Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join our Foundation team in continuing the ripple of hope and compassion you’ve already made possible. Together, we can ensure more breakthroughs, more recoveries and more moments of hope for our neighbors across West Florida: bit.ly/4p4XdoC

Teamwork is a crucial part of keeping patients safe! 🤝 Team members at seven AdventHealth West Florida hospitals recently gathered to commemorate receiving an A grade from The Leapfrog Group, a nonprofit committed to safety in health care. For patients and families, this grade means reliable care, better outcomes and greater peace of mind. Thank you to all of our team members for the care and attention you bring to every patient, every time.

Expanding access to care means opening new doors for Pasco County! ✂️ Community members, local leaders and team members recently gathered to cut the ribbon for a new space at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel, designed to maximize healing and health care for the Pasco County community. This space on the sixth floor of the new North Tower has added 24 patient beds, delivering advanced care and compassion upon opening at the start of December. AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is poised to meet the needs of Pasco County as the area continues to grow, renovating existing spaces and adding new space throughout the year. The hospital has reserved two floors for future growth and will eventually add an additional 48 beds.

Dr. Jayson Sack, a neurosurgeon at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel, can always be spotted in his Vans, the shoes he wears in honor of his late uncle and frequently gifts to his team members and patients. 👟 After hearing Dr. Sack’s inspiring story, Steve Van Doren, son of Vans founder Paul Van Doren, recently visited the hospital to surprise Dr. Sack with a custom pair of Vans! Thank you to Steve and Vans for this special moment with Dr. Sack and team!
