  • Last week, we were honored to hear from @Janet Petro Director of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. With a career spanning NASA Headquarters, SAIC, and McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, U.S. Army, upon graduation from the US Military Academy. While serving in the Army, she was assigned to the U.S Army's Aviation Branch. Janet shared powerful insights into the evolution of U.S. space initiatives and the leadership required to drive them forward. From her early days in aerospace to her current role overseeing one of the world’s most iconic launch sites, Janet’s story is a testament to vision, resilience, and impact. Her accolades—including the President’s Distinguished Executive Award and induction into the Florida Women’s Hall of Fame—only scratch the surface of her contributions. Her message was clear: the future of space exploration depends on bold leadership, cross-sector collaboration, and a relentless pursuit of innovation. Thank you, Janet, for inspiring the next generation of space leaders. Thanks to All Points Logistics for being our event sponsor and for Norseman Defense Technologies for being the raffle sponsor. #NASA #KennedySpaceCenter #LeadershipInSpace #SpaceInnovation #AerospaceLeadership

  • An excellent mission focused discussion last night at the AFCEA International Space Coast Chapter with our panel members for the state of cyberspace operations. A special thank you to TSgt Stephen Kaiser and TSgt Steven Clark of the 645th Cyberspace Squadron for providing powerful insights into their defensive cyber operations mission. Operating out of Patrick Space Force Base, the 645th plays a vital role in protecting the digital terrain critical to the Eastern Range, ensuring secure and uninterrupted execution of our nation's space launch operations. Their work directly supports assured access to space, a cornerstone of national security. We’re deeply grateful to the leadership of the 645th and Patrick Space Force Base for supporting their participation. Events like these strengthen the connection between our defense community and industry, and remind us of the importance of cybersecurity in safeguarding our future in space!

  • Juneteenth observes the events of June 19, 1865, when Union troops in Galveston, Texas officially enforced the Emancipation Proclamation, freeing countless enslaved people more than two years after its issuance. We recognize the importance of this moment in our nation’s history. Juneteenth reminds us of the value of freedom and the strength found in perseverance.
