  • Every year in November and December, the Illinois Lottery takes part in the Gift Responsibly campaign organized by the Illinois Council on Problem Gambling, with support from the North American Association of State & Provincial Lotteries   Allwyn’s Rebecca Vykydal, Senior Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist, spoke at the recent ICPG’s Responsible Gifting webinar. Encouraging responsible gifting is an important message during the holiday season and throughout the year.   The Gift Responsibly campaign focuses on raising awareness about the risks of underage lottery playing and promoting responsible gifting during the holidays.     The Illinois Lottery is once again partnering with the Illinois Council on Problem Gambling (ICPG) as part of the Gift Responsibly Campaign. Led annually by the National Council on Problem Gambling, this initiative focuses on raising public awareness about the risks associated with underage lottery play and highlighting why lottery products should never be given as gifts to minors. As part of our collaboration, Senior Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist of Allwyn North America, Rebecca Vykydal, presented our Gift Responsibly campaign on a recent ICPG training, sponsored by Illinois Department of Human Services. She presented about the Illinois Lottery's role in the campaign which includes a press release, social media posts, print and digital advertisements, a radio PSA, and messaging at retail point-of-sale.

    Introducing the Scratch Car - the world’s first race car designed to be scratched! In collaboration with McLaren Racing, Allwyn is giving fans in Las Vegas the chance to win prizes including signed merchandise and a trip to the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking with an innovative, one-of-a-kind activation. The life-sized model of an F1 car invites fans to scratch the surface of one of 970 panels to win exclusive experiences and prizes. The car was unveiled at a special launch event in Las Vegas today by McLaren F1 Team driver Oscar Piastri. Fans not in Vegas are also able to take part in the fun, with a virtual Scratch Car promotion taking place on the @allwyn.global Instagram channel. One lucky winner will win a race suit signed by a McLaren F1 Team driver, with more merch and signed memorabilia up for grabs. Fans can visit the Scratch Car until Wednesday 19th November at the LINQ Promenade, just moments from the racing track, or take part in the digital version online until Tuesday 25th November. #TakeAChance #Allwyn

  • As reported recently, Allwyn is proud to acknowledge that Illinois is the top-performing lottery - for the second year in a row! In both FY25 and FY24, under Allwyn North America management, the Illinois Lottery led every other lottery in the US for year-over-year sales performance. Notwithstanding that FY25 was a challenging year for all lotteries, Illinois Lottery can boast: 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭-𝐢𝐧-𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 - Illinois was the leading US lottery for sales performance - for the second consecutive year 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 - Illinois ranks top 10 nationally for total instant ticket sales— at a time when three out of four lotteries nationwide are experiencing declining instant sales. 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 - Record online sales of $702 million in FY25—the highest draw-based game sales online of any U.S. lottery—with continued year-over-year growth in active players.
