We had the pleasure of working with a returning customer to add more of our equipment into their facility. They wanted to minimize operator interaction in the process by integrating all of the steps into one ALMCO system. Incoming parts coming from a saw operation are covered in chips and coolant and will be washed free of contaminants in the PR12-36E conveyor washer before going into the SBB-8 bowl to deburr and give a uniform finish. The parts automatically unload into the maize drying bowl where they get a quick dry before unloading into containers to get ready to go to their next op off-site. Day 2 of 6 Innovance Inc. plants in three days included 4 locations in the Albert Lea area. First the Lou-Rich Hayward and front street locations with 'Berg Galen' and Karl Eggum. Followed by visits to ALMCO with Timothy Grahn and Panels Plus with Jeff Brown. We even ran into a Jorgensen Conveyor and Filtration Solutions unit on the tour. We are looking at how to best provide aftermarket service for our employee owned companies.
