After an incredible reception last night, we rolled into Day 2 of Academy, where Ron Bullis shared that Lifeworks Advisors leads with one core principle: put clients first. And it’s the reason they chose Altruist. From there, Adam Grealish highlighted that looking for tax savings regularly can help clients keep more of what they earn, which adds up over time. We also spent time with Gokul Ramanathan, Erik Tena, CFP®, and Yohance Harrison BFA™, CRPC®, who discussed how firms are already using Hazel to reclaim hours each week while delivering faster, more personalized advice. And during lunch, advisors got to sit down with our product, onboarding, investments, customer development, and Hazel teams to talk through real challenges and ideas, one of the most valuable parts of the day. Now we’re all headed home with plenty to reflect on going into 2026. Thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make our last Academy of the year so impactful.

“At the end of the day, it's all about supporting your clients and helping them achieve their dreams." Our VP of Relationship Management Dan Skiles set the tone for Altruist Academy in San Diego, where advisors from across the country gathered to collaborate, learn, and explore what’s next for wealth management. Key highlights from the morning: Trust + innovation = real impact Altruist’s COO Mazi Bahadori explored how trust and innovation don't need to work against each other. In fact, it's only when they work together that you get real impact, and that’s what drives us at Altruist. Product vision and market research In her session, Siena Firestone, Sales Engineer, dove into our product roadmap and discussed exciting features coming in 2026, like alternatives, options, donor-advised funds (DAFs), and more. Smooth onboarding To round out the morning, our Senior Manager of Onboarding, Natasha White, shared how we make the transition to Altruist easy from day one. We're excited for everything still to come here at the Pendry in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter.
