Bring the Walkability Action Institute to Your State! ⤵️ The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD), in collaboration with the CDC’s Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity, invites state health departments and partners currently funded through the CDC’s State Physical Activity and Nutrition (SPAN) program and High Obesity Program (HOP) to apply to host the Active People, Healthy NationSM Walkability Action Institute. Two states will be selected to receive programmatic and logistical support from NACDD to implement the Walkability Action Institute, engaging up to eight local or regional interdisciplinary teams per state.
