With deep sorrow, we share the news of the passing of Dr. Cary Brenner from Fieldstone Veterinary Care. For nearly three decades, Dr. Brenner devoted his life to the health and well-being of animals, offering compassionate care and trusted guidance to both pets and the families who loved them. His dedication, warmth, and expertise continue to shine through the many lives he touched. Rest in peace, Dr. Brenner. Your kindness, dedication, and love for animals will never be forgotten. 💙

We’re excited to welcome Liz Consuegra as AmeriVet’s new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).   Liz is a seasoned people leader with strong experience in building high-performing teams, scaling HR operations, and leading through change. At AmeriVet, she’ll lead our people strategy with a focus on supporting veterinarians and clinical teams, and empowering leaders across our 200+ hospitals to strengthen the personalized pet care we deliver.    Liz will partner closely with our Medical and Operations teams to align people programs with clinical excellence and operational execution. Last week, our AmeriVet Support Center spent the morning at the San Antonio Botanical Garden, working together to give the gardens some extra care. Together, they weeded, planted, and brought new life to several garden spaces.
