BCC Engineering, a Parsons Company was established in Miami-Dade County in 1994. Since that time the firm has diligently worked to meet the needs of our private and public sector clients. BCC specializes in providing planning, design and construction management services, for civil, structural, and transportation related engineering projects. BCC Engineering routinely takes a lead role on transportation and structural projects and has been responsible for planning, design and construction services on some of the most interesting and complex projects in South Florida.

  • Phase 2 of the Suncoast Parkway extension is officially complete, more than 500 days ahead of schedule.   We’re proud to have partnered with FDOT to design this vital connection between SR 44 and CR 486, improving safety, access, and regional connectivity throughout Citrus County. Featuring enhanced drainage design and wrong-way detection systems, this project reflects Florida’s commitment to innovation, teamwork, and efficient delivery.

  • Last week, our CEI Division’s Jorge Vazquez brought engineering to life for Troop 128 in Davie, FL! As part of the Architecture Merit Badge series, he walked the scouts through real design plans, materials, and construction methods from the Palmetto Express Lane Modification Project, highlighting the complex flyover at NW 103rd Street to give the scouts a true look at how large-scale infrastructure takes shape.

  • BCC staff members Michelle Rossi, Cory Salzano, Richard Pick, Jamie Vu and Kathy Lajos (pictured with Secretary Steve Braun) recently attended the FES Broward District 4 Work Program and Broward College Workforce Development Luncheon.   • BCC staff member Víctor Herrera was officially reinstated as a member of the ACEC Board of Directors at the FESIACEC Florida Annual Conference, held July 30 to August 2, 2025, at the JW Marriott in Marco Island. The conference brought together professional engineers from across the state for engaging discussions on continuing education, technical innovations, project case studies, and leadership. Attendees participated in a range of sessions focused on the future of Florida’s engineering industry, professional development, disaster response, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

  • The Little Free STEM Library at Stafford Park is now open, with BCC’s Michelle Brioso Rossi, P.E. contributing as part of the Florida Engineering Leadership Institute (FELI) Class of 2025. Created to expand access to STEM resources for local youth, these libraries aim to encourage curiosity and inspire future innovators. FELI helps shape engineering professionals into community-focused leaders through service and outreach, and we’re proud to see Michelle take part in this meaningful initiative. We’re also excited to share that a BCC-sponsored Little Free STEM Library has been installed at the Challenger Learning Center in Tallahassee!

  • BCC Engineering is proud to continue our longstanding partnership with the Town of Bay Harbor Islands through a new multi-year Continuing Services contract for the repair and rehabilitation of bridges and structures. As the prime consultant, BCC will provide a full range of services including management, structural engineering, traffic control, utility coordination, and CEI. We look forward to continuing to serve as a reliable partner in supporting the community’s infrastructure needs.
