✨ BioFlorida, Inc. was proud to support and attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Moffitt Speros Outpatient Center—a major milestone in expanding patient-centered cancer care in Florida. The opening of the Moffitt Speros Outpatient Center reflects a shared vision for access, innovation, and hope—one championed by leaders like Patrick Hwu, M.D. and Josh Carpenter, D.Phil., and made possible through strong collaboration across the region. Located within the innovative Speros by Moffitt campus, this new 120,000-square-foot facility brings advanced outpatient cancer services closer to patients and families across Pasco County and the greater Tampa Bay region. The center reflects a powerful convergence of research, technology, and compassionate care. We were honored to be represented by Ian Leventhal, SVP of Business Development at BioFlorida, who joined community leaders, partners, and elected officials in celebrating this important step forward. The facility is expected to begin treating patients in January 2026 and will also be home to Tampa Bay’s first proton therapy center.
