Congratulations to Entergy Louisiana on its new Sterlington Solar Facility! A few of our employee-owners who contributed to this significant and historic project made the trip to join in the ribbon-cutting festivities.
Earlier this week, I had the chance to travel to Louisiana to join our friends at #Entergy in celebrating a new chapter for a storied site. The Sterlington Solar Facility stands as a powerful symbol of progress — honoring the legacy of Sterlington Station while embracing a cleaner, more resilient future for Ouachita Parish and all of Louisiana. #Black & Veatch's culture of safety and excellence is reflected in the thousands of incident-free man-hours invested here. This project is more than a source of renewable energy; it’s a catalyst for #LocalJobs, #EconomicOpportunity and #EnvironmentalStewardship. By working together with Entergy and our community partners, we’re helping to build a brighter tomorrow and ensure that Sterlington’s legacy continues to power #Louisiana for generations to come. The rainy and cold day couldn't put a damper on this exciting occasion for me and fellow employee-owners #Roosevelt Huggins, #Rafat Elahi, P.E, #Tyler Parker and #Benjamin Anderson.
