Today, we’re reflecting on gratitude, community, and the small moments that make BLN24 feel like more than a workplace. This year’s Thanks-A-Mamba potluck brought our in-person team together for food, laughter, and a whole lot of personality (as you’ll see in the Reel 👀). At the same time, our remote teammates joined in with a hybrid celebration, sharing stories, trivia, and virtual plates of their own. Whether in the office or across the country, we show up for each other, and that’s what makes this team special. Wishing everyone a warm and restful Thanksgiving!

Today, on National Rural Health Day, we turn the spotlight on the essential workers and resilient communities that make up rural America. From long distances to healthcare cost, we recognize the unique obstacles rural residents face in accessing quality care. Equitable health is not a privilege, it is a right—and it is fundamental to the stability of our entire nation. Ultimately, the future of rural health will be built on accessibility, innovation, and well-being. #NationalRuralHealthDay #NHRD #RuralHealth #HealthEquity

AI is redefining how government serves its people—driving faster, smarter, and more human digital experiences. This Wednesday, November 12 Jordan Stoltz, Madhu Thanvi, MPH, PMP, CSM, CUA, and Jeamay Palo are attending American Council for Technology - Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) CX Summit: Delivering AI-powered Digital Services in a Modern Government on behalf of BLN24, joining public and private sector leaders to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping service delivery, accessibility, and trust across digital experiences. As agencies modernize systems and design more human-centered services, BLN24 continues to advance conversations that drive responsible, user-focused innovation, empowering both citizens and employees through smarter, more connected solutions.

This Veterans Day, we’re proud to spotlight two members of the BLN24 team Cody Hogge and Victor Zelocualtecatl, whose lived experiences remind us that service doesn’t stop when the uniform comes off. In this special edition of our Lived Experiences series, Cody and Victor share how their military values of integrity, teamwork, and mission-focus continue to shape the way they show up every day — for our clients, our colleagues, and our community. At BLN24, we’re committed to supporting those who have served, not just today, but every day, by creating space for their voices, investing in their growth, and building teams that reflect resilience, leadership, and purpose. Thank you to all who have served and continue to serve. Your dedication inspires us to commit, inspire, and elevate together.

The creative industry is evolving fast — and Adobe MAX 2025 made that clearer than ever. From conversations about AI and workflow to reminders about the enduring importance of story, craft, and empathy, our team left Los Angeles inspired by where design is headed next. In our latest recap, we explore what stood out most: creativity that adapts, craftsmanship that endures, and why everything we make will always be designed to solve.

Adobe MAX 2025, what a production! This year’s creative marathon delivered on every front. From the energetic keynotes to the highly organized, hands-on experience of the Creative Park, it was great to connect and spark ideas. A highlight of the week was meeting two design legends I admire, Gemma O'Brien and Aaron James Draplin. Gemma’s blend of lettering and illustrative storytelling stands out to me. It’s tactile, expressive, and intentional. Watching her create live on stage was fascinating. She shared that traditional media isn’t going away; it’s being expanded. Her approach to building on a career-long library of analog elements and using AI to enhance, not replace her process, felt especially relevant this year. And of course, Aaron Draplin, a master of logos with the kind of hands-on, no-nonsense approach that makes you want to grab your sketchbook. His dedication to the craft is a clear reminder that thoughtful design never goes out of style. I may have chased him down for a hat autograph :) While analog media remains the foundation of all design, AI was major topic this year, and rightfully so. I had fun testing out Adobe Express’ new tools, customizing my own Coca-Cola can, exploring Firefly Boards, and celebrating the much anticipated automatic layer naming feature, yeehaw! In the keynote, Brandon Baum from StudioB said something that stuck: “AI is not some mighty piece that replaces the whole puzzle, but it does help us move through it faster. Tools don’t make stories. Storytellers do.” Huge thanks to BLN24 for the opportunity to attend #AdobeMAX and soak it all in.

In the creative industry, mentorship and inspiration are vital to growth; whether they come from direct guidance or learning from afar. Getting to meet Matthew Encina and Allan Peters at Adobe MAX 2025 was a full-circle moment after years of following their work, learning from their content, and applying their lessons in my own creative journey. Matthew Encina has always inspired me through his hands-on approach to online education and his dedication to creative self-growth. I admire how deeply he leans into curiosity—like turning simple hobbies of office design and 3D printing into full fledged research and physical product activations. As an online educator and storyteller, he openly shares his process through platforms like Mod Musings, Inc. and Youtube, inviting others grow alongside him. In my own work, I now take focused time in physical pinups, stepping back and self-critiquing, and creating a workspace that helps me function better. Allan Peters has made design (especially logo design) remarkably approachable and accessible through his short process reels and his best-selling book, Logos That Last. His session at Adobe MAX was a masterclass in humility and craft — diving into his lived experiences and proud creative moments, growing his agency, Peters Design Company, over the past decade, and refining a logo design process that has stood the test of time. With his insight, I've adapted my own design process to be heavy on vast sketched-base ideation and formulated focused client review presentations that always move the product forward. Walking away from this week, I’m reminded how crucial it is to have creative role models who not only shape how we work, but also why we create (passion, passion, passion). I'm grateful for the inspiration, and for a creative community that leans into craftsmanship of what we do. Thank you BLN24 for supporting my growth and our creative team’s development with the chance to attend #AdobeMAX.
