Excited to share that Boost My School has raised $10 million in funding to further our support of K-12 advancement teams! 🚀 From the early days of starting Boost to help my high school, to now powering $100+ million a year in fundraising for hundreds of K-12 schools, we’re beyond grateful for our amazing partner schools who have believed in and helped us build something truly impactful together. Thank you to everyone who has been part of the Boost journey so far, from our current and past team to our investors and supporters — High Alpha, FOVC, ground game, Allos Ventures, and Scot Chisholm (founder of Classy), to name a few. I couldn’t be more proud of how we’ve all come together to make a difference to K-12 schools & their students.  And we’re only just getting started :). Read more in the comments below!

  • We’re excited to share that Boost has secured $10 million to revolutionize K-12 fundraising for advancement teams! We’re deeply grateful to the hundreds of partner schools who trust Boost to power their fundraising. That trust has helped us achieve world-class partner satisfaction with a 98% retention rate and an 85 NPS score. From annual giving and reunions to auctions, golf outings, and giving days, hundreds of schools use Boost to foster stronger connections with their communities. As Meredith B. Robbins, CSPG, Chief Advancement Officer at Polytechnic School, put it: “Boost is uniquely designed for K-12 schools and has helped us create a seamless experience for donors.” With this new funding, we’re doubling down on our commitment to serving K-12 advancement teams, growing our team, and enhancing our comprehensive platform designed to simplify and scale school fundraising efforts. Thanks to our investors and supporters, including High Alpha, FOVC, ground game, Allos Ventures, Scot Chisholm (founder of Classy), and many more. Check out the news in the comments👇

  • The last campus Boost team members visited while in Pasadena was the Polytechnic School. Associate Director of Annual Giving Bryan M. Armas, Director of Annual Giving Alexin Tenefrancia, Chief Advancement Officer Meredith B. Robbins, CSPG, and Advancement Administrative Assistant Rory Xanders (who is an alum) took us on a tour through their expansive and impressive campus which educates students K-12. The day ended with a thoughtful slideshow showcasing the amazing community engagement and fundraising initiatives the team does throughout the year. Highlights included Poly Pet and Hobby Show, Chalk Day, Reunion, Rose Parade, and so much more! Thank you for being incredible hosts and partners.

  • Continuing with our Pasadena partner visits, we headed to the Mayfield Senior School where our CEO Holman Gao, Mayfield’s Partner Success Manager Brandi Booker, and other members of the Boost My School team toured the gorgeous campus, which has been the location for several film shoots! The Mayfield Development team graciously shared insights about recent fundraising successes like the capital campaign to revamp the school building (making it earthquake friendly and preserving the historical elements) and the Mayfield Community Relief Fund built to help community members impacted by the wildfires. A big thank you to Bryan Lynch, Director of Major Gifts, Georgia Vagim, Community Engagement and Events Coordinator, Alexandra Badie, Marketing and Social Media Manager, Angela Mercedes Howell, Director of Strategic Philanthropy & Stewardship, and Lisa Montes Vandergriff, Director of Development for being such wonderful collaborators and hosts!

  • When the Boost team recently traveled to Pasadena for our annual retreat, we had the distinct pleasure of visiting three partner schools. It was a fantastic opportunity to tour the campuses, learn more about their fundraising programs, and collaborate! First up was High Point Academy, where Boost team members met with Director of Advancement & Communications Cheryl Stern. An impressive team of one, Cheryl manages the school’s giving, events, and auctions! In addition to closing out the fiscal year this spring/summer, Cheryl and her colleagues have also been supporting students, their families, and colleagues who were displaced by the recent wildfires. Cheryl truly does it all, and does it well!

  • Last week, the Boost team gathered in sunny Pasadena for our annual retreat and had the pleasure of hosting a reception with some incredible K-12 development teams from across LA. From conversations on giving days to gala strategies, it was energizing to connect with Boost partner schools. A special shoutout to Albany Academy for making the trip all the way from New York! We loved celebrating the wins of FY25 and are feeling fired up to help schools make FY26 their best year yet.

In case you missed us: Boost was on-site in Boston last week for the Partners in Mission Summer Institute. It was energizing to connect with so many of our 200+ school partners and meet new advancement teams exploring how to “dream big” for their FY26 giving, events, and auctions. From making annual giving more engaging to tracking marketing ROI, every conversation reinforced how passionate this community is about growing their impact. A major highlight: presenting alongside Jennifer Plouffe, Associate Director of Advancement at Central Catholic High School. We shared a session on Building a Cohesive FY26 Development Plan, drawing from their standout FY25 successes like Raider Day of Giving and their Bids and Bites Auction. Already counting down the days until next year’s conference.

  • CA K‑12 schools showed up strong at this week’s Advancement Exchange for Independent Schools (AeXIS) Annual Conference, and we’re lucky to work alongside many of them. From Lauren Le Ber at Westridge School to Emma Balina from Crane Country Day School, it was inspiring to hear our partners showcase the strategies they’re using to engage donors, deepen storytelling, and strengthen their communities. We were especially grateful to co-present with Alexin Tenefrancia and Bryan M. Armas from Polytechnic School. We walked through how Poly’s Giving Day leaned into building connection and engaging with donors to bring in more than $1M across 750+ gifts. We're so proud to play a part in this incredible community!
