In a year filled with challenges and hard-won victories, Thanksgiving couldn’t come at a better time. As the season of harvest winds down and the year-end to-do lists grow longer, this holiday reminds us to pause and take stock of what truly matters. For those who work the land and care for livestock, life can feel heavy at times—but Thanksgiving shines a light on the blessings that surround us every day: family, friends, and the communities we call home. It’s a time to celebrate resilience, hard work, and the abundance that comes from dedication. As you gather with loved ones this week, know that we at Capital Farm Credit deeply appreciate the trust you place in us. You’re more than customers—you’re part of our cooperative family. The greatest rewards come from the relationships we build together. From all of us at Capital Farm Credit, may your Thanksgiving be safe, joyful, and abundant. #TogetherWereBetter #Family #Commitment #FarmCredit #TeamCFC

  • Last week, Farm Credit peers from across the U.S. joined us in College Station to connect, collaborate, and explore sustainability initiatives shaping our industry. During a tour of CFC member-owner Steely Lumber Co. in Huntsville, guests got a closer look at how Texas timber producers manage forests with the future in mind, from responsible growth to thoughtful harvesting. We’re proud to host opportunities like this that strengthen relationships across the Farm Credit System and support the continued sustainability of agriculture. Farm Credit Council

  • Last month, we had the privilege of welcoming Dr. Dave Kohl, one of agriculture's most respected economists and educators, to speak at our 2025 AgriRoots Conference. With his signature blend of wisdom, humor, and practical insight, Dr. Kohl challenged producers to think differently about their businesses, their legacies, and the global trends shaping agriculture today. His guidance on financial resiliency, diversification, and disciplined planning resonated deeply with the room. Bringing leading voices like Dr. Kohl to AgriRoots is central to our mission of equipping the next generation of farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness owners. • As we pause to honor our nation’s veterans, we’re reminded that service and sacrifice take many forms - on the battlefield, in our communities, and across rural America. At Capital Farm Credit, we see those same values reflected in the farmers and ranchers we serve every day. Today and always, we proudly honor the men and women who have served our country and protected the freedoms that allow our rural communities to thrive.
