Meet Blue Cole, the Economic Development Manager for Peachtree City. He graduated from Georgia Southern University and resides with his wife and four children in Sharpsburg, where he served two terms as Mayor. "Peachtree City's quality of life includes our local businesses and services," stated Cole. "Enhancing the businesses in our community will create more employment and additional opportunities."  Mr. Cole's resume includes nearly 20 years of state and local government experience writing grants, managing projects, and building partnerships. After many years of dedicated service to Peachtree City, Councilman Frank Destadio has resigned from Post 4 due to health concerns. A proud U.S. Air Force veteran, Councilman Destadio served on the Planning Commission for over a decade, seven years as Chairman, before being elected to City Council in 2021. His leadership has been marked by integrity, fairness, and a deep commitment to our community. We are especially grateful for his efforts to honor veterans, including leading the 2023 initiative to designate Peachtree City as a Purple Heart City. Let's take a moment to celebrate Code Enforcement Officer Cherish Mitchell as our #EmployeeoftheMonth! Recently, Officer Mitchell went above and beyond in ensuring compliance with city regulations within a large new subdivision.
