We understand the struggles of a startup. We were a startup 10 years ago, borrowing resources and space from our sister company CJB Industries, Inc., relying on used equipment and ingenuity as we helped our customers overcome their product formulation and process challenges. When you need to quickly get a product to market, it’s important to have a commercial-ready formulation. Part of the path to commercial-ready is running pilot batches. But not all formulators or manufacturers are properly equipped to do so. One of our customers experienced this dilemma and turned to our team for assistance. “We were a small company. We didn't have formulation capability. We didn't have any manufacturing capability. CJB had all that in house, so it was really a one-stop shop for us to come to them and rely on them for formulation expertise, pilot plant expertise, and then being able to go from the pilot plant at CJB Applied Technologies over to CJB Industries to scale up for our commercial production. Our Health Safety and Environmental Manger Sedra Beckman had intended to become a veterinarian until she encountered algebra. So she made a life pivot and joined the U.S. Air Force where she realized her passion for safety, which had been an underlying presence her entire life. Why?
