For nearly twenty years, the leaders at Solista Everett have hosted Eldernet, a vibrant networking group of nearly 1,000 Snohomish community members. Over the past four years, Eldernet has dedicated its efforts to raising funds for Homage, the organization behind Meals on Wheels in Snohomish County. Their work ensures that seniors who are homebound or unable to cook receive nutritious meals and critical connection. In 2023 alone, Homage delivered more than 390,000 meals. As many of you know, the recent government shutdown has caused a temporary pause in SNAP food benefits, creating hardship for thousands of families across the country, including some of our own Cogir employees. At Cogir, we take care of each other. That’s why we’re launching a Cogir Cares Emergency Relief Fund to provide food and grocery support for our teammates most affected by this situation. We’ve set up a GoFundMe page to make it easy for anyone—employees, residents, families, and partners—to donate.
