We are the community’s safety net, providing critical support services that preserve and promote stability, self-reliance and dignity. Since 1957, Community Services Agency has been providing vital social services for residents of Mountain View, Los Altos and Los Altos Hills. We understand that hardship can come at any time and knows no age limit. We provide a safety net so independence and self-sufficiency can be restored and maintained. Our clients may be a young, working poor family or an elderly person living alone. CSA is a non-profit organization that offers: Food Housing Assistance Emergency Rental Assistance Senior Assistance Services Senior Meeals Homeless Services Holiday Sharing & Back to School Programs CSA depends on support from individual donors, foundations and corporations. CSA is part of the well-established network of other local non-profits and agencies. Volunteers are a vital complement to our experienced professional staff.

We’re thrilled to share that Earlene Minnis and Sarah Townsend-Handley will be honored at the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce’s 30th Annual Celebration of Leaders & ATHENA Awards. Earlene Minnis, Senior Nutrition Site Manager, will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her 30+ years of transformative leadership in Senior Nutrition Programs across Santa Clara County. Sarah Townsend-Handley, Development Associate, will receive the Young ATHENA Award for her inspiring work uplifting systemically marginalized communities through the arts, storytelling, and the creation of third spaces.
