Coursemojo is hiring! We’re seeking three new colleagues who want to play critical roles in the way we provide support for teachers and accelerate student learning in classrooms across the country. We’re hiring for an: 🔹 AI Research Associate — to help run, iterate, and scale the prompt experiments that power Mojo’s learning experiences. This analytical problem solver will report directly to our Co-CEO and VP of Product Eric Westendorf and will help accelerate our ability to incorporate feedback and improve; 🔹 AI Content Transformation Associate — to ensure that every piece of educational content in our app is formatted to function flawlessly for students and teachers. This individual brings extraordinary attention to detail and process orientation to everything they do, and enjoys working collaboratively behind the scenes; and a 🔹 Full Stack Engineer - Cloud & AI — to join our CTO Jamie Forrest and talented Dev Team in leading the development of our innovative AI-powered educational software infrastructure. Across the 2024, 2025 school year, we partnered with Chiefs for Change in a Community of Practice exploring how AI can enhance high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) in public education. Together with district leaders and educators, we focused on one of the most critical and often overlooked areas, secondary literacy. At Coursemojo, we believe AI should never replace teachers, it should empower them. This initiative affirmed that belief. When thoughtfully integrated and grounded in strong curriculum, generative AI can help teachers respond to student needs in real time, differentiate instruction, and stay centered on relationships and rigor. Over the course of the year, educators used Coursemojo to identify learning gaps, scaffold instruction, and streamline workflows. In doing so, they helped students take greater ownership of their learning. In one district, a student began asking the AI for feedback before turning in writing assignments. That kind of self-direction isn’t just exciting, it’s essential. Districts shared how sustained coaching, aligned tools, and smart implementation helped AI feel like a shared instructional journey, not just another initiative. For emergent bilingual students and students with disabilities, real-time supports made the classroom more accessible and equitable. As the Community of Practice concludes, we’re deeply grateful to the educators who shaped this work and excited for what’s ahead. Because when AI is used with care and clarity, it can be a powerful force for equity, engagement, and excellence. 💜

We are very excited to announce that Coursemojo will be partnering next year with Digital Promise through one of their high-impact Research-Practice-Industry Partnerships (RPIP). We will work with 5 League of Innovative Schools districts to implement Coursemojo free of charge (thanks to generous philanthropic support) - and these partners will continue to help us co-develop our AI + HQIM supports for students and teachers, with a special focus on the role of instructional coaches as we scale.
