  • Please join us in celebrating CPC’s Director of Childhood Development Services, Mary Cheng, for being recognized as one of Schneps Media’s 2025 Power Women of Manhattan! 🏆 This award honors Mary’s leadership in education — a career defined by compassion, resilience, and a deep commitment to empowering our community. Mary’s journey is a beautiful full-circle story: she started as a young student at CPC, returned as a teacher, and now serves as Director of Childhood Development Services, overseeing five early childhood centers and eight school-age programs. Beyond CPC, she also serves as Vice-President of CSA’s Asian American Association and has been honored with the PASEsetter Award and the Day Care Council’s Unsung Hero Award. Congratulations Mary! 💙

  • CPC Chinatown Older Adult Center held a Thanksgiving party for over 300 members. 🍗 The star of the meal? The crowd-favorite soy sauce chicken — enjoyed alongside our regular nutritious congregate lunches for our older adults. The afternoon was accompanied by performances from our Cantonese Opera Group.

  • This past week, our CPC Brooklyn Older Adult Center hosted a Thanksgiving 🦃 celebration at the CPC Beacon Program at Pershing Junior High School. Our community came together for a warm meal, performances, and raffles! They also received turkeys and goodie bags to prepare their own Thanksgiving meals. Huge thanks to Congressman Goldman, Senator Steven Chan, Assemblyman Chang, and the Office of Council Member Susan Zhuang for celebrating with us!

  • Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! Today, and every day, we are filled with gratitude for the people who make our mission possible: 🙏 To the community members—thank you for allowing us to serve you. 🤝 To our partners and donors—thank you for believing in our mission and supporting our work. 💙 To our staff, Board members, and Leadership Council—thank you for your unwavering commitment and hard work. Wishing you all a peaceful and joyful holiday!

  • There's nothing we love more than seeing happy faces this time of year! This Thanksgiving, we're distributing 1000 turkeys 🦃 to families in our community to ensure that everyone can gather around the table and enjoy a warm holiday meal. With SNAP benefits still in limbo, this support is more critical than ever as our community recovers from the longest government shutdown in history.
