  • We’re proud to announce the sale of Building H at THE YIELD by Crescent Communities Holly Springs to Ypsomed AG, marking the company’s first North American manufacturing facility. This 110,000-square-foot cGMP shell building, located in the heart of North Carolina’s Research Triangle, will serve as a vital hub for Ypsomed’s growing portfolio of subcutaneous drug delivery systems — helping meet larger-than-ever global demand for self-administered therapies and chronic disease solutions. As Crescent Communities’ flagship life science campus, THE YIELD Holly Springs offers a strategic location, access to top-tier talent, and proximity to industry leaders, including Amgen, CSL Seqirus, and Genentech. “Holly Springs continues to prove itself as the leading destination for innovative life science manufacturing companies,” said Brendan Pierce, President of Commercial. “We are honored to welcome Ypsomed as a cornerstone tenant of THE YIELD Holly Springs.” Congratulations to our team and partners for this major milestone — and welcome, Ypsomed. • At Crescent Communities we believe that art is an integral part of delivering on our mission to Build Community and Better People's Lives. We are proud to welcome our newest (and biggest) community builder to The River District — otherwise known as "Big Pete with the Big Feet." This extraordinary public art installation from world-renowned recycled materials artist, Thomas Dambo, reflects our steadfast belief in the power of art to bring people together and our passion for sustainability. Foundational to the vision behind The River District, this community brings that belief to life as one of only three projects recognized by Bioregional as a One Planet Living Leader in the US. “At Crescent Communities, we believe public art is a powerful tool for building community,” said Aldo M., Chief Creative Officer. “Across the country, our communities are shaped by the idea that people connect more deeply to places where creativity and culture are part of the everyday experience. Bringing Thomas Dambo’s work to Charlotte reflects that vision – it’s not just about what we’re building, but about how we can spark moments of joy, discovery, and connection for everyone who comes here.” Art is a part of the fabric that makes a place feel alive, inviting, and meaningful, and we are ecstatic to help bring this landmark to the Charlotte community in partnership with Lesli Marshall from Articulation Art. Many people helped bring "Big Pete with the Big Feet" to Charlotte, and we want to thank our colleagues and volunteers for all their hard work and dedication in bringing him to life. • We're ecstatic to join our partners at Nuveen, a TIAA company and The Spectrum Companies in welcoming LaBella Associates and vQuip to One Independence Center! Starting as an acquisition and joint venture with Nuveen in 2019, One Independence Center has become a vibrant hub for Uptown Charlotte and tenants alike. The space now includes 55,000 square feet of destination, onsite amenities, like Monarch Market and sweetgreen's first NC location, flexible working spaces in the tenant lounge and atrium, on-site restaurants, extensive public art installations, and 2 connected hotels. "The continued leasing success at One Independence Center underscores the strength of the Uptown market and the appeal of spaces that truly meet the needs of today’s workforce. From design to location to amenities, we’ve been intentional about creating an environment where companies can grow and people can thrive, and we’re thrilled to see that vision resonating with tenants like LaBella and vQuip," said Sagar Rathie, Managing Director of Commercial Office and Mixed Use at Crescent Communities. As we welcome our newest tenants, we are kicking off the addition of 15,000 square feet of additional amenity space, including conference rooms, meeting spaces, and a 4,000-square-foot wellness and fitness center.
