Congratulations to #DevereuxPA Children’s Services doctoral intern Brooke Goldsmith for completing her #Devereux doctoral internship program research! Brooke’s research focused on the relationship between functional communication skills and challenging behaviors of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Her results found “individuals with stronger functional communication abilities were somewhat less likely to engage in challenging behaviors.” Good job, Brooke.
