🌍 Advancing global spine care! The annual FOCOS Orthopedic Hospital outreach trip in Ghana brought together an extraordinary team of spine surgeons from across the community. Together, the team operated on 11 patients with complex scoliosis and spinal deformities, with every patient now on the road to recovery. We’re proud that Dr. Khawar Siddique of DOCS Health was able to join this mission, working alongside an incredible group of surgeons and care providers from both Ghana and the U.S. This initiative was entirely surgeon-driven, from organizing to fundraising, to ensure that patients received care at no cost. Yet thousands more children in Ghana remain on the waitlist for surgery, underscoring the importance of continued outreach.
