Our San Diego office is growing rapidly and delivering great work across the region — from complex lab renovations to innovative campus projects. We’re excited to keep raising the bar for quality and collaboration in Southern California. One example of this commitment is the renovation of the Tresguerres Lab at UC San Diego’s Hubbs Hall, supporting cutting-edge marine biology research. This transformative upgrade enhances lab functionality while preserving active research continuity — a true testament to our white-glove approach in occupied campus environments. A huge thank you to our incredible partners and team who made this possible: Design Partner: Delawie & Greg McClure Dome Team: Cameron Haag, May Sphabmixay, Andre Meshack, and Khairy Kanaan Excited to help advance science where the ocean meets innovation! We're excited to announce the promotion of Kirk Arena to Project Manager! Over the past five years, Kirk has consistently shown strong leadership, excellent customer service, and an unwavering commitment to delivering value on every project he touches. Most recently, he’s stepped into the retail and hospitality sector, where he’s already made a major impact. Kirk played a key role in the completion of Arquet, the new sister restaurant to the Michelin-starred Sorrel, located in San Francisco’s iconic Ferry Building. The project was uniquely complex, and his work helped strengthen our relationship with Hudson Properties throughout the build. Please join us in congratulating Kirk on this well-deserved promotion. Here’s to his continued growth and the exciting work ahead! #DomeBuilds #TheresNoPlaceLikeDome

We’re excited to share that Adam Alviso has been promoted to Assistant Project Manager! Adam has been a steady, reliable presence at Dome for years. He’s taken on some of our more complex San Francisco projects and built strong relationships with both clients and teams across Office Ops. He also played a big role in getting Via Aurelia successfully opened, helping build a solid partnership with the client and foothold in the hospitality industry. Outside of project work, Adam stays involved in college recruiting and shows up consistently at industry events like Young Professionals in Construction, helping broaden Dome’s reach and network. And if you know Adam, you know he doesn’t slow down outside of work either—he’s a singer and songwriter, and recently performed in front of a packed crowd in San Francisco with his band, The Painted Lads. This promotion is well deserved. Congrats, Adam! #DomeBuilds #TheresNoPlaceLikeDome

Today, we pause to honor the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of all who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. At Dome Construction, we’re especially grateful to the veterans across our teams. We thank them for their service, leadership, and the values they bring to work every day. Their commitment to teamwork, discipline, and integrity strengthens not only our projects, but our entire community. We owe an unpayable debt of gratitude to those who have served, for their sacrifices make it possible for us all to live and work in freedom. We missed recognizing one of our Veterans on our post. Thank you AJ Martin for your service! #VeteransDay #ThankYouVeterans #DomeBuilds

Last week, six members of the Dome team attended the 2025 Lean Construction Institute (US) (LCI) Congress in Arlington, TX, joining nearly 2,000 professionals committed to advancing the construction industry through Lean thinking. Since attending our first Congress in 2015, we’ve remained deeply engaged in this community, continuing to strengthen our Lean practices to better serve our clients and partners, especially across our Science & Tech, and Healthcare projects, where collaboration and efficiency make all the difference. This year’s Congress was filled with learning, connection, and a few proud Dome moments: • Cody Bersaglieri-Petro took the stage with select Superintendents and Trade Foremen sharing real-world experiences with the Last Planner System, and their session was voted Best Live Lab Session! • Steve Long led a session on running effective Project Retrospectives (Lessons Learned), engaging the audience with interactive participation and practical takeaways. • Kara Hermann, P.E. Hermann closed out the entire conference on a high note, performing her original song “Same Team.” We’re proud of our team (Cody Bersaglieri-Petro, Dylan Jaedtke, P.E., Gabriel A. Vargas, Kara Hermann, P.E., Steve Long & Tyler Rager) for representing Dome’s commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration, and for helping shape the future of Lean in construction. #lcicongress2025 #lci #leanconstruction #lastplanner #sameteam #lean
