The Aviation Services Division of DSI has been serving the military and commercial community since 1995. From air traffic control, ramp control, navigational maintenance, airfield system maintenance, weather observation/reporting to management of an airport’s common-use terminal resources, DSI does it all—safely and without fail. DSI helps airports improve safety and efficiency by analyzing and improving ATC and airport management services. DSI controllers maintain positive control of vehicles and aircraft as well as constant surveillance of the airspace and the movement areas at their respective airports using proven techniques, standardized phraseology and rigid adherence to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) separation standards. DSI operations are in strict accordance with specific FAA/National Weather Service (NWS) orders, notices, and airport directives. Additionally, DSI air traffic management staff have decades of air traffic and airspace management experience. They specialize in the development and review of procedural guidance, airspace design, special use airspace requirements, Class B/C airspace revisions, unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) integration, and special traffic rule requirements.

DSI Awarded $5.6M Contract to Operate Virtual Ramp Control at Hollywood Burbank Airport Burbank, CA – August 18, 2025 – The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority has awarded a contract to Dynamic Science, Inc. (DSI) to operate the Virtual Ramp Control Room (VRCR) at Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR). Valued at up to $5.6 million, the agreement will enhance safe and efficient aircraft movements at the airport's upcoming Replacement Passenger Terminal. Under the five-year contract, commencing October 1, 2025, DSI will provide professional staffing, supervision, and coordination for the VRCR. This includes managing gate assignments, radio communications, and collaboration with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and airline partners. The VRCR will manage aircraft flow between terminal gates and the airfield, supporting BUR's growth and operational excellence. "We are honored to support Hollywood Burbank Airport with our proven ramp control capabilities," commented Douglas A. Wilson, President of DSI. "Our team is committed to exceeding expectations in safety, efficiency, and innovation."
