Positive Multigenerational Change
About us
Our mission is to educate students who will use their college degrees and careers to enact Positive Multigenerational Change in their communities, nation, and world. Teachers incorporate yearlong themes into their courses to help students understand themselves and the world they want to live in, preparing them to create a Positive Multigenerational Change. - 9th Grade: Know Yourself - 10th Grade: Know Your Community - 11th Grade: Know Your Nation - 12th Grade: Know Your World After graduating, students entering college have a deeply personal purpose for being there, and are positioned to persist through the challenges of a rigorous college environment. We want each student to achieve his or her own college and career goals. Ednovate students will lead social and economic change in their immediate families and communities, and they will make a positive impact in our world at large in their lifetime, which will ripple for generations to come. 300 engineers still can’t match the instincts of a great teacher… yet. So what happens when AI does start catching up? What I Learned from a Room Full of Education Innovators At the Charter School Growth Fund CEO Gathering last month, I sat down with Joseph Liemandt of Alpha School for a fireside chat and moderated a powerhouse panel with Cady Ching (Summit Public Schools) and Dacia Toll (Coursemojo). Three big takeaways: 1) Teaching is more like rocket science. Alpha’s model, recently examined in WIRED for its bold promises and real risks, shows both the potential and the pitfalls of tech-driven learning. It’s taken them 300+ engineers and a few years to replicate what great teachers do naturally, and they are not there yet. The takeaway? Teaching is hard to program; it will remain a human-centered profession, but the skills needed to succeed will likely shift. 2) 7-hour school days? Not obsolete. Parents need kids in school for 7+ hours a day. But core learning doesn’t need all day with AI. What else could school be? Exploring careers, developing deep talent in sports or arts, creating businesses...lets build schools that kids actually love. 3) Modular learning is here. AI, flexible tools, and platforms mean school leaders must be designers now, of time, culture, and experience tailored to each community. The future isn’t one-size-fits-all. Let’s build schools that unlock the genius in every student. Read more about my takeaways from this amazing event on Ednovate Inc blog and drop your ideas below.

Celebrating Apply Day Across Ednovate! This month, each of our Ednovate high schools celebrated something big: Apply Day, a dedicated time for our 640 seniors to take the next step toward college. At Ednovate, preparing students for college isn’t just about getting applications in. It’s about ensuring they’re ready with the tools, self-awareness, and purpose to make the most of what comes next. That’s where our Whole Child Report Card (WRCR) comes in. This is our anchor to ensure ALL students have a multidimensional college preparation experience. More than just grades, it measures how they’re growing in areas like mastery, college rigor, purpose, presence, critical thinking, and social-emotional learning. These are the building blocks not only for getting into college, but for succeeding once they’re there. “The WCRC has empowered students by giving them access to their up-to-date data in one place for the first time. Previously, they relied on their advisors for this information. Now, students can independently monitor their college prep, allowing them to make informed decisions about their focus areas.” – Brianna Casiano, Assistant Principal, Esperanza College Prep On Apply Day, teachers and advisors used the WCRC as a guidepost, helping students align their college choices with their strengths, goals, and sense of direction. It was a celebration of not just access, but readiness. Apply Day is a powerful reflection of what happens when schools invest in the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally. It's Positive Multigenerational Change in motion. Stay tuned for how you can help drive purpose and possibility for our students during this season of giving!
