We are deeply saddened by the loss of Rafael Ravelo, Erie House's first Latino-identified Executive Director and a transformational leader who dedicated his life to expanding opportunities for Latino families and advocating for the underserved. Rafael's visionary leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to justice touched countless lives in our community. His legacy of service, his joy in bringing people together, and his passionate advocacy for equity will continue to inspire us. For those in Florida, a Celebration of Life will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, September 3rd, from 5:00-9:00 PM at Edward Rivero Funeral Home (4600 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, FL 33021). We are currently looking for volunteers to join us Monday through Thursday from 2:30-5:00 p.m., starting September 8th through December 04th.
