This year, we decided to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by connecting with our community. So, in partnership with the H-E-B Read3 Program, Favor team members donated and delivered books and other goodies to our neighbors down the street at UT Elementary! Special thanks to Grecia Llarena, Somos at Favor Employee Resource Group (ERG) Co-Chair, for reading “Paletero Man” by Lucky Diaz aloud to a great group of kids. Our hearts are feeling full after these offline hours, well-spent, with the next generation of Texans. 💙

A pillar of Favor University is the Horizon Seminar series, which are thought-provoking, forward-thinking discussions about our market and industry. 👏 We recently offered a Horizon Seminar on the changing demographics of Texas hosted by Erika Prosper, Senior Director of Customer Insights at H-E-B and former first lady of San Antonio. Erika spoke about who Texans are becoming and what Favor should remain mindful of as we adapt and grow. The more we understand our Customers, Merchants and Runners, the more we’ll offer flavors that truly connect with them and meet their ever-changing food needs. "I was looking for a company that offered the best of both worlds: a hybrid work environment.  After working remotely for several years, I missed the in-person connection with my team.  At the same time, I didn't want to go back to a company that was fully in-office.
