Just behind the headquarters of Fleetwood Bank stands the newly renovated Fleetwood Lofts, an adaptive reuse project that blends local history with modern living. 🏠 After decades of vacancy, the remaining building of the Fleetwood Body Complex began their transformation into 20 studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom loft-style apartments. The project, which began in 2022, was led by a Brooklyn-based real estate developer who was drawn to the potential of the property and the strength of the local community. The borough of Fleetwood strongly supported the effort, recognizing both the historical value and economic opportunity. 🚧 Andrew, Fleetwood Lofts’ Project Manager, was introduced to Fleetwood Bank by a local resident in 2024 when they started the construction of just under 100 additional apartments across the street from the original apartments. With over 14 years of customer service and management experience, Walter Thomas III is excited to continue his career in a customer-facing role here at Fleetwood Bank. 🏀 Walter’s local ties to the community include coaching basketball for Hamburg Area High School, in addition to his own AAU basketball organization.
