Are homes selling for their full list prices? 💰 Median percent of original list price is the median of the sale price as a percentage of the original list price across all properties selling during the month. This metric shows the relationship between buyer and seller – if the metric moves up closer toward 100%, buyers are needing to get closer to the list price to make the deal work for sellers in a competitive market. As the price moves further away, sellers are moving a little further from their listing price to make things work for the buyer. While the most current number can be helpful when having the discussion about managing expectations with your clients, this metric is best when viewed in a longer series to see the overall trend, accounting for seasonality as well. This way, you get a sense of where the market has been, and where it’s likely headed. Take a look in your local area at median percent of original list price. Something incredible happened yesterday afternoon! Hundreds of convention attendees joined us for a meal-packing event with Meals of Hope! Together, we packed 38,016 meals, which were immediately distributed by Second Harvest Food Bank to children living in the Central Florida area.
