About us
“The child can only develop fully by means of experience,” Maria Montessori wrote. A century after her work began, modern research is proving her right. When education is experience-based and independently focused, our children develop a stronger sense of self. They’re better equipped to take care of themselves – and of others. Montessori works. Fox Valley Montessori School is for children aged 15 months to 12 years. We’re located on the west side of Aurora, Illinois, about 5 minutes from I-88. We’re fully recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education and fully accredited by the American Montessori Society. But FVMS is more than a school. We’re a community of involved and passionate families. And our children are learning to be themselves. Together.
