Today, Gap Inc. announced the creation of a new role and the appointment of Pam Kaufman as Chief Entertainment Officer. This role is designed to build and scale Gap Inc.’s entertainment, content and licensing platform, delivering innovative storytelling, cultural collaborations, and breakthrough moments across music, film, sports, gaming, and consumer products—unlocking value at the intersection of fashion and entertainment. As we continue strengthening our foundation and reinvigorating our portfolio of iconic brands, this marks the next phase of momentum. It broadens how we engage audiences through partnerships and experiences, and reflects a belief that fashion today is inseparable from culture. “Fashion is entertainment,” said Richard Dickson, President and CEO of Gap Inc. “Today’s customers aren’t just buying apparel—they’re buying into brands that tell compelling stories and drive cultural conversations. Through Fashiontainment, we’re unlocking that potential to create fandoms, inspire movements, and fuel sustained growth.” Based in New York, Pam will also help evolve our Los Angeles presence, including the opening of a new office on Sunset Boulevard this spring—further embedding Gap Inc. within the entertainment ecosystem. We’re excited to welcome Pam and to continue shaping what’s next at the intersection of fashion, culture, and entertainment. #GapInc

This past weekend, Gap Inc. was proud to participate in a series of NRF Foundation events leading up to NRF 2026: Retail’s Big Show—deepening our commitment to investing in the future of retail and the next generation of industry leaders. At the NRF Foundation Student Program, Tamesha H., Vice President of Tech Ops at Gap Inc., took the main stage to share how legacy brands can partner with emerging technology innovators to reimagine the shopping experience. With more than 1,300 students from 160 universities in the room, the conversation underscored the power of pairing innovation with a human-centered mindset. At Gap Inc., we’re using AI to reimagine retail from the inside out—combining the creativity of our teams with the intelligence of technology to build more personal, intuitive, and trusted experiences for customers, while empowering our employees to focus on what they do best. Hearing peers across the industry discuss responsible, creative approaches to AI, alongside the energy and curiosity of students preparing to enter the workforce, was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we invest early and lead with intention. The weekend also included the NRF Foundation Honors Gala, where Old Navy served as a sponsor. Old Navy CEO Horacio Barbeito presented the RISE Up Partner of the Year award, recognizing our longstanding partner, The Door, for their impact on youth opportunity and career access. The Door bridges the opportunity gap for youth in NYC by implementing This Way ONward, Old Navy’s signature program, which supports economic mobility through skills training, supportive services and job opportunities. We’re grateful to the NRF Foundation for creating meaningful spaces where students, early-career talent, and industry leaders can connect, learn, and help shape what’s next for retail—together.

Where creativity meets community. Our team toured SFMOMA San Francisco Museum of Modern Art’s KAWS: FAMILY and soaked in three decades of work that redefines how culture shows up in art. We walked away reminded that creativity thrives when we look closely, ask boldly, and imagine differently. #GapInc #SanFrancisco
