The Fall 2025 Conference Registration is open until next Friday, 5 September. You must be logged into the website to access the registration page. Please review the Conference Announcement for information regarding conference events; attendees are advised that some optional events may be full at this time. Registering after 5 September incurs a $250 additional charge, subject to space availability. Virtual Registration is open for those who cannot make the trip to Wichita. Members and Non-Members can register for remote attendance by logging into the website and following the link on the Conference Page. Virtual attendees can register for the conference and Sunday tech class; the class will only be available live. The Monday and Tuesday presentations can be viewed for up to 30 days on the virtual platform after the conference ends. The Room block for the SMRI Conference at the Hyatt Recency Wichita is full for most nights of the conference. Geostock teams will take part in the Joint SPE/ARMA Workshop on Subsurface Storage, to be held this September in Texas. Co-organized and co-chaired by our Scientific Director Louis Londe, the event will explore both the operational and scientific aspects of subsurface storage — an area of expertise Geostock has been developing for 60 years. Together with Geostock Sandia LLC, we will present our work, share our experience, and engage with the international community on the key factors for successful #CO₂ sequestration, hydrogen storage, and broader energy storage projects, in the current context of environmental transition and energy sovereignty. Class VI is making strides in Texas!

Great conversations at the Fuel Ethanol Workshop and Expo, in Omaha, #Nebraska with James Cron. The #ethanol market is diversifying with a lot of emphasis on Sustainable Aviation Fuel, or #SAF. To qualify, a low Carbon Intensity #CI is required; and #CCS is the most cost-effective solution to meet this standard. This reminds me of the great conversations at #RiceU with #TX landowners that were generating three income streams from their land: underground (with oil and gas), land (agriculture, whether it is cattle or crops), and above ground with #renewable energy (#PV, #wind). Same goes with #CO2 #undergroundstorage that can add a revenue stream to an existing business. #GeostockSandia, we focus on the S part of #CCS.
