Today we honor International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, a meaningful moment to acknowledge those who have endured the pain of losing someone to suicide. This day encourages connection, shared understanding, and the healing that comes from telling our stories with care and openness. Whether you are seeking comfort or offering it to someone who is grieving, compassion remains a powerful source of support. If you or someone you know is struggling, help is always available. At Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital, caring for our community goes far beyond our walls. This Thanksgiving season, our team came together to support local families by donating to a nearby food pantry and partnering with Project Connect, a Cincinnati Public Schools initiative that supports students and families experiencing homelessness or severe hardship. Through this partnership, we were able to help ensure families received Thanksgiving food boxes filled with everything needed for a full holiday meal. A special thank-you to Christy from our Admissions team, who connected us with Project Connect and helped bring this idea to life. And thank you to Dr. Colleen Thomas-Philip, our CEO, and our leadership team for their support and commitment to community giving. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back, and for the staff and volunteers who made this effort a success. Community health starts with community support, and we’re proud to play a small role in making the holiday brighter for our neighbors. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Glenwood Hospital.
