Last week, we shared insights from the NYC MCI alerting program with NJ hospitals and several NJ emergency preparedness partners, helping them understand the program and how it may work in NJ when there is a potential patient surge from a mass casualty incident. We were joined by Bradley Kaufman New York City Fire Department, Art Ditzel NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, and Rob Bristol New York City Emergency Management Department. It was also a great opportunity to collaborate and strengthen NYC-NJ preparedness ahead of the FIFA 2026 World Cup!

Afya is working with GNYHA, Montefiore, and other hospitals to deliver medical/surgical supplies to the island. We thank Montefiore for hosting this important event.
