Growbie

Last night we hosted our biggest (for now) in-person gathering in Boston and 20 Growbies showed up! They came from all ages (from freshmen to professionals with 10+ years of experience), top schools, and various industries from finance, healthcare, research, to entrepreneurship! As we kick off fall, we gathered for good food, amazing conversations, and lifelong connections. When we hosted networking events, we put a lot of intentional effort into balancing breadth (variety of people you meet) and depth (people who we think might vibe very well). Reviews? Not enough time even after 4 hours of the evening!! Network exists but network effect takes arts and science. We started Growbie back in 2022 with our first Networking Bootcamp of 10 people, and now we have over 4000 Growbies around the world. 3 of our OG Growbies Zhixi Liu Helen Li Jiajun Sun showed up at our event (and almost every time). Whenever I see them, I am always overwhelmed by pride of how far we have come, and gratitude of growing together with each other. A network can exist and do nothing.
